What needed solving.
For a restaurant, the decision happens on a phone, in seconds: is it open now, what is on the menu, how much does it cost and is there a table. The website had to answer all of this without losing the character of a historic house, and lead visitors to book without picking up the phone.
How we did it.
The blue tiles of the facade shaped the identity: an elegant serif, limewashed tones and the tile pattern running through the page. At the top, the view over Alfama and a live open or closed status in Lisbon time. Then the family story, the signature dishes, a tabbed menu with prices, the wine cellar by region and a booking form with the time slots available each day, party size and instant confirmation. At the end, the map and how to get there.
What we delivered.
A website with the soul of a traditional Alfama tavern and the workings of a modern restaurant, fast on mobile and built to fill tables.
